Cloud Engineer II

TraceLink is looking for an SRE / Cloud Engineer to help improve its Service Mesh and Kubernetes architecture, ensuring high availability, performance and reliability of the global TraceLink platform on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability expected by customers and delivery to defined OKRs.
• Design, build, document and test new tools and technologies as part of an Agile team.
• Gather and analyse system metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
• Implement and monitor systems that proactively detect and address issues.
• Optimise AWS resource usage across environments to deliver cost-effective services.

Requirements

• 3+ years as an SRE / Cloud Engineer with increasing responsibility.
• Strong understanding of cloud deployment in multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm and Kubernetes.
• Experience diagnosing container and system performance.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Shell.
• Experience with mature development practices for source control, security and deployment.
• Nice to have: observability, Istio, agentic AI capabilities.
